In Sunday’s final Hertford played LMH with Hertford winning this closely contested game 7-6 to achieve 3rd place.
Dropouts occurring from the St. Anne’s side resulted in an executive decision to merge the runners-up from Group 1 (Queens) with St Anne’s.
The hybrid team faced the titleholders, Christchurch, in the fight for first place. Christ Church had a strong campaign this year, with a consistently strong turn out, and they didn’t fail to perform, leading to an 8-6 win.
A special mention goes to St. Antony’s for being the only Cuppers team to consist of players from a single college, to our secretary for organising such a smoothly run and enjoyable tournament.
